Host Johnnette Williams celebrates the day the Virgin Mother of God was assumed into Heaven. She explains the origin and Biblical reference. It is also the 41st anniversary of EWTN. This was when Mother Angelica pull the switch to bring EWTN on the air. Caller Judy shares how Johnnette, Dr. David Anders and EWTN radio help bring her back to the Catholic faith. They want to tell you If you have a close relationship -then it is same sex attraction. Caller Linda had this. She was friends with schoolmate and they thought it was gay relationship. Instead it was sin and bondage. She now is back with the Catholic church. Mary lose a friend after telling her that the intimate relationship she had was sinful. She wanted to be honest with her. Caller Theresa did not know that 'the pill' was abortive.

Host Johnnette Williams shares the story of Our Lady's parents- St. Joachim and St. Anne. They are the grandparents of Jesus. Johnnette tells the story of her grandmother who said a rosary daily for each of her 13 grandchildren. She loved going on car trips with them as they prayed during the trip. Listeners call in and share their memories of their grandparents.
Johnnette shares a little about the past weekend's Benadicta conference. Caller Karen was there and still feels joy and peace from event. Johnnette says joy is a sign of God. We can feel joy even in times of sorrow. Johnnette tells of the time her husband was dying yet she was happy knowing he would be with Jesus soon. She explains how life can be like a soup kitchen. After the soup is gone the joy of the love of giving should still be there.
