Johnnette welcomes Dr. Christopher Stroud who is an obstetrician-gynecologist in Fort Wayne, Indiana After years of struggling as a Catholic physician with the ethical, theological, moral, and biological issues at hand, Dr. Stroud came to the point that he felt he could no longer prescribe artificial forms of contraception, perform sterilization procedures, or refer patients for artificial insemination or in-vitro fertilization. The evil eye is of the occult and is usually associated with witchcraft and the dark arts and is a form of spell casting. The practice of wearing or using amulets and/or rituals to protect against the evil eye are all superstitions.

Johnnette remembers how her mother would give her little bits of advice before she would go out for the evening. "Be safe" "Drive carefully" Your mother cared. So Our Blessed whispers to us if we listen. She shares how we may suffer the 1000 daggers as we die to self. Jesus suffered but was not sorrowing. He was fulfilling his mission.

Joseph of Cupertino was often totally consumed by prayerful rapture and was even observed levitating more than 70 times. The experience of levitation is a physical expression of the deep prayer that raises the heart and mind to God. Johnnette shares how the nuns in her school taught them to express these little prayers or ejaculations of the heart throughout the day. Her favorite is " God have mercy on your daughter and save her from herself."

Johnnette talks about distractions in prayer. She is reminded of a caller who was told not to pray the Rosary because of her distractions. Who does not get distracted in prayer or even at Mass. You have to find way to keep focused but do not lose hope. Johnnette shares ways to help in prayer. The show end with a caller who needs help & prayer after having abortion.

Jesus says in Matthew "If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it." Johnnette explains that the Lord invites us to be with Him and some of that way is in suffering. We are to carry a portion of the cross. We have to follow in His bloody footprints. Caller jane ask from prayer for a newborn with sever health issues. Parents were told the child will not live.

Host Johnnette Williams says we all need healing. You can not put a band-aid on an open wound. If you have one of the heart you need to let Jesus in. He is the healer. Sue says dowsing is explicitly forbidden in Scripture. “My people consult their wooden idol, and their diviner’s wand informs them; for a spirit of harlotry has led them astray, and they have played the harlot, departing from their God” (Hos. 4:12).

Host Johnnette Williams shares how July 6 marks the feast day of St. Maria Goretti, a young virgin and martyr whose life is an example of purity and mercy for all Christians. St. Maria Goretti is best known for her commitment to purity and the courageous defense of her faith at the young age of eleven that made her willing to undergo death rather than participate in a sin against God. She is also remarkable for the forgiveness she willingly granted her attacker as she lay on her deathbed.
