24th Hour: 4-5 p.m.

The Burial of Jesus. Most Holy and Desolate Mary.


Most Holy and desolate Mary leaves the Holy Sepulcher.

23rd Hour: 3-4 p.m.

Dead Jesus is transfixed by the lance and taken down from the cross.

22nd Hour: 2-3 p.m.

Third hour of Agony on the Cross. Fifth, sixth and seventh word.


The fifth word: “I am thirsty.”

The sixth word: “It is consummated.”

The seventh word: “Father, into your hands I commend my spirit!”

21st Hour: 1-2 p.m.

Second hour of Agony on the Cross. Second, third and fourth word.


The second word: “Today you will be with me in paradise.”

The third word: To Mary Most Holy: “Woman, here is your son.” And to John: “Here is your mother.”

The fourth word: “My God, my God, why have you abandoned me?”

20th Hour: 12-1 p.m.

The first hour of agony and the first word.


“Father, forgive them for they do not know what they are doing!”

19th Hour: 11 a.m. - 12 p.m.

The Crucifixion

18th Hour: 10-11 a.m.

Jesus takes up the cross and walks toward Calvary, where He is stripped.

17th Hour: 9-10 a.m.

Jesus is crowned with thorns.

16th Hour: 8-9 a.m.

Jesus is brought before Pilate again. Barabbas is preferred to Jesus.

15th Hour: 7-8 a.m.

Jesus is brought before Pilate, who then sends him to Herod.

14th Hour: 6-7 a.m.

Jesus is brought before Caiaphas again, and then sent to Pilate.

13th Hour: 5-6 a.m.

Jesus in prison

12th Hour: 4-5 a.m.

Jesus in the midst of the soldiers

11th Hour: 3-4 a.m.

Jesus in the house of Caiaphas

10th Hour: 2-3 a.m.

Jesus is presented to Annas
