The Family Room (The Quest)

Christopher and Wendy West, parents to five children, have been called to a special mission within the Church. They share the gift of St. John Paul II’s Theology of the Body. Christopher West shares how the Theology of the Body radically changed his life in the early 1990s. The deepest hungers and desires of our hearts are placed in us by God to lead us to Him now and to an eternal wedding feast. Yes, Christopher tells us, “God wants to marry us.”

In this episode, we take a deep dive into questions such as: What does it mean to be human? Was the Incarnation God’s “plan B?” How do I talk to and pray with my children and grandchildren in a way that upholds God’s creating the human person male and female? What does it mean to have a body and that the body is for the Lord, as St. Paul exhorts? Theology of the Body is for everybody, a gift of the Fire of Divine Love.
