Peter Herbeck, Executive Vice President and Director of Missions for Renewal Ministries

Peter Herbeck, co-author with his wife, Debbie, of the book Lessons From the School of Love: Cultivating a Christ-Centered Marriage, shares key lessons that he and his wife of 37 years have learned to build up their marriage and family to become more Christ-centered. Peter addresses topics including how to give God permission in our marriages and families, the sacrificial nature of true love, having the will to change, asking for and extending forgiveness, helping children encounter Christ (“parents are the pastors”), Christian marriage as “a supernatural thing,” and remaining strong amid Satan’s attacks on marriage and the family.

For more than thirty years, Peter Herbeck has been actively involved in evangelization and Catholic renewal throughout the US, Canada, Asia, Africa, and Eastern Europe. Peter oversees the work of lay mission teams throughout the world who work to equip Catholic lay people, bishops, priests, and religious to respond to Blessed Pope John Paul II’s call for a new evangelization. Peter and Debbie have four children and eleven grandchildren. They reside in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
