John Edwards, host of Just a Guy in the Pew podcast


John Edwards has known firsthand many of the struggles men go through. He struggled with addiction, went to jail, and almost lost his marriage. As John says: “It wasn’t until I felt the presence of Jesus as I walked out of a jail cell that I realized how much I wanted to change and how I could only do that with His help.” When John came back to Jesus, he struggled to find other men to support him in his walk with Christ. He founded Pew Ministries to help parishes start men’s groups where guys can find the support they need to become the men they’re meant to be. He stresses how parishes need to put boots on the ground to save our families from all the attacks of our secular society. John’s ministry focuses on helping men grow in Christ to fill those boots to become the husbands, fathers, and leaders God calls them to be. John shares about his experiences while challenging us to acknowledge who we are and whose we are.
