Dr. Peter Howard, author, speaker, and founder of Fulton Sheen Institute
Having been saturated in the culture of relativism for decades, there is a growing hunger in the world for truth. Young people clamor for it and are flocking to our churches for answers. At the advent of television, a fiery prelate known for his pithy quotes took advantage of that new technology to get people excited about God. Today, he is well on his way to sainthood, and we know him as the Venerable Fulton J. Sheen. Recognizing this current hunger for truth, Dr. Peter Howard founded The Fulton Sheen Institute to bring back these dynamic truths and help society rediscover a total vision of man according to God's design. They are as relevant today as they were when Sheen spoke them more than 70 years ago.
Through a multitude of live and online events, the Institute’s robust website contains more than 300 talks as well as formation courses, retreats, and dynamic opportunities to engage and transform the modern culture. Dr. Peter Howard is married to Chantal Howard and they have seven beautiful children. Dr. Howard earned his Doctorate in Sacred Theology from the Pontifical University of St.Thomas Aquinas [Angelicum] in Rome, Italy. Peter is a renowned international Catholic speaker, scholar of Venerable Fulton J. Sheen, author, professor, Catholic theologian, Mariologist, Catholic entrepreneur, and founder of Heroic Families and The Fulton Sheen Institute. Peter has spoken at national, diocesan, and family conferences in the United States and Philippines; the United States Air Force Academy; the Apostolate for Family Consecration; and diocesan and parish retreats. He has been featured on Catholic television and radio programs such as EWTN, Catholic Answers Live, the Patrick Madrid Show, CatholicTV, Shalom World, Radio Maria, and Relevant Radio.
