Amelia is a Roswell, Georgia, native who became active in the Life Teen program as a parishioner at St. Ann Catholic Church in Marietta, Georgia, and a student at Blessed Trinity Catholic High School. After graduation, Amelia served as a Life Teen leader and missionary each summer while attending Louisiana State University. Upon graduation from LSU, she began her career as a theology teacher at a Catholic girls’ school in New Orleans.
